Our Services In Detail

Family Dental Care

Time bound Dental treatment for the whole family at affordable cost.

Root Canal Therapy and Micro Endodontics

Root Canal Treatment is the part of dentistry that deals with the inner portion of your tooth which is commonly called the nerve. The most common root canal procedure is basically a root canal treatment (RCT) or root filling. This procedure involves your dentist removing the inflamed, infected or necrotic nerve from inside your tooth, carefully cleansing the tooth and placing a root filling material into the root where the nerve originally was so that the root is sealed from your mouth and no infection can enter your jaw through the tooth. Endodontic procedures have evolved a great deal in the last few years and it is now possible to predictably treat and save a tooth that years ago would have required extraction.

Orthodontic Corrections - With Invisible Brackets

Orthodontics is the specialty of dentistry focused on the diagnosis and treatment of dental and associated facial irregularities. The results of orthodontic treatment can be beautiful smiles, improved dental health and an enhanced quality of life for many people of all ages. Orthodontic problems, which can result from genetic and environmental factors, must be diagnosed before treatment begins. Proper diagnosis involves taking photographs, x-rays, and dental impressions, which enables us to make informative decisions about the form of treatment necessary.

Treatment typically lasts from 6 to 30 months, depending on age and the severity of the orthodontic problem. Outstanding results are also dependent on maximizing the coordination of care between you and our practice. We are committed to delivering the best possible service in order for you to achieve your orthodontic objectives.

Full Mouth Rehabilitations Including Deep and Gentle Cleaning

Full mouth prophylaxis, full mouth cleaning and full mouth restoration are terms often used interchangeably to describe the process of rebuilding or simultaneously restoring all of the teeth in both the upper and lower jaws. Full mouth prophylaxis can help restore oral health and functionality.

Full mouth prophylaxis typically involves procedures like crowns, bridges and veneers and can incorporate dental specialists like Periodontists (specializing in the gums), orthodontists (specializing in tooth movements and positions) oral surgeons, and Endodontics (specializing in the tooth pulp).

The main requirement for the full mouth prophylaxis

(Cleaning) may result from:

  • Teeth that have been injured or fractured.
  • Teeth that have been lost due to decay or trauma.
  • Complaints of jaw, muscle and headache pain requiring adjustments to the bite (occlusion).
  • Teeth that have become severely worn as a result of long-term acid erosion (foods, beverages, acid reflux) or tooth grinding.

Smile Designing, Esthetics, And Treatment of Sensitive Teeth

Smile Designing is, changing the size, shape, color and alignment of the teeth and altering the associated tissues in order to enhance one’s appearance. What that means is a potentially complete “make-over”, if you will, of your smile and appearance. It includes composite build-ups, veneers, teeth whitening, orthodontic corrections, soft tissue managements etc. It may not be necessary to alter all of these elements depending on your needs.

Crown & Bridge

A crown is used to entirely cover or “cap" a damaged tooth. Besides strengthening a damaged tooth, a crown can be used to improve its appearance, shape or alignment. A crown can also be placed on top of an implant to provide a tooth-like shape and structure for function. Porcelain or ceramic crowns can be matched to the color of your natural teeth. Other materials include gold and metal alloys, acrylic and ceramic. These alloys are generally stronger than porcelain and may be recommended for back teeth. Porcelain bonded to a metal shell is often used because it is both strong and attractive.

Bridges are commonly used to replace one or more missing teeth. They span the space where the teeth are missing. Bridges are cemented to the natural teeth or implants surrounding the empty space. These teeth, called abutments, serve as anchors for the bridge. A replacement tooth, called a pontic, is attached to the crowns that cover the abutments. As with crowns, you have a choice of materials for bridges. Your dentist can help you decide which to use, based on the location of the missing tooth (or teeth), its function, aesthetic considerations and cost. Porcelain or ceramic bridges can be matched to the color of your natural teeth.

Dental Implants

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that is placed into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge. Dental implants may be an option for people who have lost a tooth or teeth due to periodontal disease, an injury, or some other reason.

There are many advantages to dental implants, including:

  • Improved appearance. Dental implants look and feel like your own teeth. And because they are designed to fuse with bone, they become permanent.
  • Improved speech. With poor-fitting dentures, the teeth can slip within the mouth causing you to mumble or slur your words. Dental implants allow you to speak without the worry that teeth might slip.
  • Improved comfort. Because they become part of you, implants eliminate the discomfort of removable dentures.
  • Easier eating. Sliding dentures can make chewing difficult. Dental implants function like your own teeth, allowing you to eat your favorite foods with confidence and without pain.
  • Improved self-esteem. Dental implants can give you back your smile and help you feel better about yourself.
  • Improved oral health. Dental implants don't require reducing other teeth, as a tooth-supported bridge does. Because nearby teeth are not altered to support the implant, more of your own teeth are left intact, improving long-term oral health. Individual implants also allow easier access between teeth, improving oral hygiene.
  • Durability. Implants are very durable and will last many years. With good care, many implants last a lifetime.
  • Convenience. Removable dentures are just that; removable. Dental implants eliminate the embarrassing inconvenience of removing dentures, as well as the need for messy adhesives to keep them in place.
  • The ideal candidate for a dental implant is in good general and oral health.
  • Adequate bone in your jaw is needed to support the implant, and the best candidates have healthy gum tissues that are free of periodontal disease.

Flap Surgery - Repair and Protect

Periodontal Flap Surgery, which is also called pocket depth reduction, your periodontist folds the gum back away from the tooth. Periodontal Flap surgery is recommended in many cases where pocketing depths have reached a level that makes maintenance or cleansing difficult. It is often associated with areas of bone loss and inflammation of the gum tissue around the teeth when scaling and root planing have been unsuccessful in eliminating the entire pocket of decay, or when there has been bone loss that needs to be surgically corrected, then a dentist may perform periodontal flap surgery.

In flap surgery, under local anesthesia, small incisions are made in the gum, so that it can be lifted back to expose the tooth and bone. The entire area is carefully cleaned and all tarter and infected granulation tissue are removed and the bone is examined. Because periodontal disease causes bone loss, often the bone will need to be re-contoured in order for the gum to heal properly. After scraping away the bacteria-laden plaque and tartar, the dentist removes diseased tissue and smoothes the surface of damaged bones. Then the dentist sews the tissue back into place. Removing or smoothing damaged tissue allows the gum tissue to better reattach to healthy bone.
